FAQs

Covid Update

I am still open rocking and rolling taking orders as usual.

Everything is made to order in house by myself so I make sure that my workroom is cleaned and operated in a safe high-quality way.

My leather merchants are still open and I can still order the leather to make jackets.

How are my clothes made?

Everything you see is all made by me from the design, pattern cutting, making up to the shipping answering emails talking to my phone on Insta and making sure everything is running smoothly.

Can I still order with you after Brexit?

Yes EU icons! Currently, I am still shipping internationally – whoop yeah

I have followed the guidelines, have the correct numbers and custom forms which allow me to send orders from the UK to Europe and Ireland.

When your order is received in your home country you will now be required to pay an import tax before your parcel can be successfully delivered to you. The amount of tax you pay will differ depending on the EU country you are based in. I recommend checking how much import tax you will pay with your local customs office before placing an order.

Postage has gone up but unfortunately, that’s out of my hands. I do try to keep my postage to the best option and currently, Royal Mail is the best way for me.

I am also keeping myself updated on any changes or any other information I need to put in place if needed.

Please do feel free to contact me if you have any further questions

Drop me an email holla@borntothread.co.uk  let’s talk other alternatives

How do I order a custom jacket?

All my jackets can be personalised to suit whatever design you have in mind. When it comes to creating the designs I use a mixture of leather fabrics to create a cool unique effect.

Each design is drawn by hand first with your ideas and colours in mind, I then take this to a digital copy to send to you to makes sure you are 100% happy with how it looks.

I can work with a majority of colours and text, so if you have a particular colour or style in mind then please feel free to ask.

Once you are happy with the design I will then take it to the jacket keeping you updated on the process and making sure you are still happy with how it is looking.
